I am complacent in this moment while staring into your eyes
You eyes look like the sun with green rays of glorious light
The smile on your face does warm my heart and calms this hate
You make me forget the worst, you make me want to stay
When I looked into your eyes the first time I saw the future, Our lives
With just one glimpse I was lost into this world, like a portal of time
You asked me if I was alright and I just smiled and said I was fine
Little did you know that in that moment I was yours for all time
Your eyes do shift colors as your mood and seasons change
Like leaves on a flower always evolving except with no decay
I am lost in this moment with my love and watching her fall to sleep
You gave me life, gave me love, you gave me this key forever I will keep

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I think this is really good, straightforward and simple without complex words and all that fluff. I like the imagery of watching her go to sleep. I think that all "good guys" want that moment with the right girl at one time or another.
